An AI agent you can watch work.
Overview
Mimo runs research tasks in the background. It scans sources, drafts the workflow and drops the result on a board. The app had to make invisible work feel visible, and worth trusting.
The challenge
Agents are hard to trust when you can't see them.
Most AI apps show a chat box and a spinner. Mimo works for minutes, not seconds, so people need to know what it is doing, how far along it is and what came back. Without that, a background task feels like a black box.
The approach
Make the task the hero.
Home opens on the active task: what the agent is researching, who is on it, how many sources it has scanned and a progress bar that moves. Boards and today's tasks sit below. One lime accent belongs to the agent, so wherever it shows up, people know Mimo did that.
The outcome
Progress you can read in two seconds.
Open the app and you know whether the agent is still working, done, or waiting on you. The mascot gives it a face without turning it into a toy.
