PoetCam turns photos into animated posts. The redesign focused on the first minute: show what the app makes, then get people to their first creation before they lose interest.
The challenge
A creative app that started with nothing on screen.
Creative tools lose people at the empty canvas. New users had to imagine what PoetCam could make before they had made anything. The redesign had to answer that on the first screen.
The approach
Show the output, then let people borrow it.
The welcome screen leads with finished posts. Tap one and it becomes a template you can steal, so the first creation starts from something good. Home keeps the same idea: a big drop zone for photos, then trending templates and ones to steal.
The outcome
Less to decide. Faster to make.
Every screen has one job and one orange action. The app feels playful because the content is, while the interface stays out of the way.
